The brim of black seal fur and a crown of segmented black silk; embellished with red twisted silk tassels and loop; surmounted by an ornate brass and crystal finial; the interior lined with red cotton, retaining original ties; worn by an 8th rank Mandarin. Good condition, some wear to fabric.
