With conforming serpentine shaped campan melange marble top, the pierced coquille centered frieze on deep diamond patterned ground, raised on S-scrolled legs beautifully carved with rare female Indian feathered headdress motif, Tête D'Indien, representing the discovery of the new world, joined by an acanthus leaf stretcher. The double thickness of marble or double gorge provides substance to the piece. Marble restored.
